New HC Board of Education Trustee


HC Board of Education

The Board appointed Gary Baker to fill the vacant trustee seat on the HC Board of Education at a special meeting Monday night. Gary has three children in the district and has been active in the schools, serving as classroom volunteer, Friday popcorn popper, and athletic booster. He is an Account/Project Coordinator at EPI Marketing. Gary enjoys the great outdoors, sports of all sorts, and spending time with friends and family. He is anxious to learn and become further involved with the goals of the community and district as he joins the journey to educate, empower, and equip students for life. Gary will serve as a member of the HC Board of Education until the November 2018 election process is complete, when three trustee seats are up for election.

Harper Creek Seeking Copy Machine Replacement Bids

 

Bids are due 4/30/18 at 2 p.m. and will be publicly opened at

4 p.m. on 5/2/18 at 7454 B Drive North, Battle Creek, MI  49014.

Bids turned in after the due date will not be accepted.

 

Vendor must provide a notarized statement proving there is no relationship between the contractor and any school board member or administrator.

Spring Senior Citizen Luncheon
and Tour of the District

 April 25, 2018

Join us for the tour only, luncheon only, or both!

We appreciate the role our senior citizens play in supporting our students and schools. To honor their commitment, we welcome all Harper Creek senior residents to join us on April 25.

This event is free and open to any senior citizen living in the Harper Creek School District.

Tour – 10 - 11:15 a.m.

Hop aboard a Harper Creek school bus with tour guide Superintendent Rob Ridgeway at the Harper Creek Administration Building (7454 B Drive North) prior to the luncheon for an up-close look at the District.

Luncheon – 11:30 a.m.

Meet us in the HC Administration Building Board Room (7454 B Drive North) to connect with our community, enjoy a hearty lunch, and learn more about current happenings in our community schools.

Harper Creek Community Schools Dining Services is accepting applications for Food Service Workers and On-Call Substitutes, starting wage $9.53/hour. We are seeking individuals who are willing to work in a fast-paced dining environment and who possess the following work related values:  openness, trust and integrity, passion for quality, win through teamwork, and responsibility, as well as having a can-do attitude.
