Updates from Calhoun County Road Commission

The Calhoun County Road Commission has informed us of their upcoming road projects.

Unfortunately, these projects will affect many of our bus stops in the Wattles Park area.  A large portion of the roadways in these project areas will become impassable by school busses.  In these areas we will do our best to create safe group satellite stops as close to the original stops as possible.  If  your student's stop is affected, you should start receiving a “Bus Stop Change Notification” letter from your child’s driver.  This letter will provide you with details of your new temporary bus stop, as well as an estimated pick up and drop off time.  These letters will begin to go out as soon as Friday September 22, 2017.

In addition, beginning Monday, September 25, shoulder work will be taking place on B Drive South near Sonoma Elementary.  This work is expected to take two to three weeks, weather permitting.  Please allow yourself extra time while traveling to and from your home.

The Harper Creek Transportation Department would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
