Flu Shots

Flu shots will be offered:

Wattles Park Elementary - Wednesday, November 2 - 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sonoma Elementary - Thursday, November 3 - 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Beadle Lake Elementary - Monday, November 7 - 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Please complete both sides of the enclosed consent form, and provide a copy of the insurance card or complete the insurance information on the back of the form.  Insurance will be billed.

A flu shot can also be purchased for $37 for the injectable; Flu Mist will not be available.  If the student does not have insurance or is underinsured, vaccines for children will be provided for $20.  (Please make checks payable to CCPHD.)  Parents/guardians do not need to be present.  Please call 269-441-2320 if you have any questions.  Forms may also be picked up in the school offices.  All forms need to be returned to the school by Friday, October 28.

Senior Citizen Luncheon

Come connect with your community, enjoy a hearty lunch, and learn more about what's happening in your community schools.

Alumni Swimmers and Divers

There will be a Harper Creek Alumni Swim Meet and McDill Scholarship Fundraiser at the High School Pool on Wednesday, November 23.  Warm-up begins at 4 p.m., and the meet begins at 5 p.m.

Student Wellness

The District Student Wellness Committee is seeking to increase parent membership. The committee meets twice yearly to consider and review district student wellness policy and make recommendations.

Seeking Employment?

Harper Creek Community Schools is accepting applications for Special Education Bus Aides and Bus Drivers.

Must have at least a high school diploma or GED.  Must have an excellent attendance record, be self-motivated, positive, and team-orientated, with the ability to work cooperatively with staff and students.  Must perform duties with awareness of all District requirements and Board of Education policies. 
Special Education Bus Aides start at $9.50/hour.  Will primarily be responsible for assisting in providing safe transportation of special needs student to and from designated locations.

Bus Driver starting pay is $10.50/hour during training, with a potential to make $15.77/hour.  Must have a valid Michigan driver license, positive driving record, and the ability to manage students’ behavior during transport.
