Pickleball club is starting back up! There will be a quick informational meeting tomorrow during 2nd lunch in Ms. Gilbert’s Classroom, Room 201. All students interested in joining are welcome, and staff are welcome to join as well!

The 8th Annual Night of Jazz dinner-dance tickets are available for purchase. The event will take place on May 16th and will include over 2 hours of live music, a catered meal, raffles, dancing, and more. Come support live music this May and be a part of the fun. Tickets are $30 each and are available in the main office and the band room. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Borders.

Juniors who earned open lunch privileges because of last fall’s PSAT scores need to get an Open Lunch Permission Form from Mrs. Peet upstairs in Ms. Howard's office. Once all the paperwork is complete, you will be able to take advantage of Open Lunch. If you are not sure if you earned this privilege, see Mrs. Peet or Mrs. Gardner.

If you are a sophomore or junior interested in the trades, we are hosting a representative from KCC’s RMTC program on Thursday, April 30, during seminar. We will be going over the introductory KAMA program as well as other programs such as: HVAC, welding, pipefitting, and more! Please sign up at the counseling office to reserve your seat.

Any senior who is continuing to compete in athletics at the college level next year and would like to have a signing, please sign up in the athletic office. The signing will take place on Thursday, April 30th, at 12:00 pm in the lunchroom.

Attention staff and students- our next blood drive is April 24. You must be 16 or older to donate. If you are 16, you will also need a signed parent permission slip. Seniors, you can earn senior hours by donating. Seniors who have donated blood six or more times are eligible for a graduation cord through Versiti. Applications for this cord are due April 1st. A link has been sent to your email from Mrs. Helmbreck with details.

We need a backstage crew for the talent show! If you're interested in working in the booth or moving the set backstage, please plan to attend a meeting in Ms. Hurley's room on Monday, April 20. Experience working in the theater is preferred.

Details for the upcoming talent show auditions are available in the main office or in Ms. Hurley's room. All Harper Creek staff and students are welcome to audition! We hope to showcase all the talent our district has to offer.

Any seniors who participated in the theater program that would like to paint a brick should email Ms. Hurley by Friday, April 17th.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: Prom ticket sales will end on April 10th. Guest passes are also due by this date—no exceptions. Tickets will be on sale during all lunch periods this week for $60.00 each. Be sure to purchase your ticket on time, as all tickets must be bought and seating assignments finalized by the deadline. Don’t wait—get your tickets and forms turned in before April 10th!

Attention students: There will be a Prom fundraiser during all lunch periods this week! Stop by and grab a cool treat—there will be a variety of ice cream bars available for purchase. Each ice cream bar is $3.00, so don’t miss out while supplies last!

Are you a reader? Do you like apocalyptic stories? If so, you should join book club! Our next book is The Road by Cormac McCarthy. If you like dark, complex reads, then this book is for you. If interested, please sign up in the library with Ms.Roslund by Friday, October 31.

Anyone interested in a board game building contest, please check your email for the sign-up form. The contest will run from November 3 to 21 during lunch in the library. Sign-up forms are due by November 3.

Any girls who are interested in playing basketball this season, please sign up at the Athletic Office. There will be a short meeting with Coach Casselman this Friday, October 31, at 7:55 a.m. in the cafeteria. Please plan on attending. Also, Coach Casselman is hosting a pre-season open gym from 6:30 to 7:45 pm on Sunday, November 2.

Volunteers are needed for a Trunk or Treat being held before the playoff football game this Friday. See Abbi Andrews or the flyers in the main office for more information.

All 9th-12th graders interested in Girls Competitive cheer should head on down to the athletic office to sign up and grab a packet! More information will be shared as soon as we have it. You MUST have a physical on file by Monday, November 10, no exceptions. Let’s have a great year and break more school records this season! Be a part of something big and spread the positivity. Go blue!

Tickets are now on sale for the high school’s fall play: Murder on the Orient Express! Student tickets are only $5! Join us November 7, 8, and 9 for mayhem, mystery, and of course murder!

The Charitable Union is holding its annual Winter Coat Drive. We encourage staff and students to donate. Donations of clean, gently used, or new winter coats are currently being accepted in a bin outside of the main office.
