Bond Vote Result Statement

Harper Creek Families, Staff, and Community,

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote in yesterday's bond election. While the proposal was not approved, I sincerely appreciate everyone who participated in the process and made their voice heard.

Although this was not the outcome we had hoped for, our commitment to the students of Harper Creek has not changed. Every day, our staff remains focused on educating, empowering, and equipping students for life. That work will continue today, and it will continue tomorrow.

The needs identified in the bond proposal, including improving learning spaces, enhancing safety and security, and maintaining our facilities, have not gone away. In the coming weeks and months, we will take time to listen, reflect, and evaluate our next steps. We remain committed to being good stewards of our community's resources while continuing to provide the high-quality educational experience our students deserve.

I want to thank the many community members, parents, staff, and volunteers who dedicated countless hours to learning about the proposal, asking thoughtful questions, sharing information, and supporting our schools throughout this process. Your investment in Harper Creek and our students is deeply appreciated.

Harper Creek has always been a community that comes together to support its children. I am confident that spirit will continue as we work together to create the best possible future for our students.

Thank you for your continued support of Harper Creek Community Schools.

Sincerely,

Rob Ridgeway
Superintendent
Harper Creek Community Schools
