Any junior or senior girls interested in PowderPuff you will need to sign up in the athletic office by the end of the day tomorrow.
Student council will be selling homecoming tickets starting September 23 thru October 2. If you are bringing a guest from another school don’t forget to get a guest form from the main office. Completed guest forms are due back by September 29th.
The speech and debate club will continue meeting every Tuesday at 3 pm in Room 108. Please consider joining us if you’d like to give it a try.
"See you at the Flagpole" will be happening on Wednesday, September 23rd at 7:00am. It will be a large group of students and staff sharing short messages and praying for the school, community, and nation. We'll meet at the flagpoles in front of the main entrance.
Students, you may not park in any of the painted parking spots during school hours. Those spots have been paid for and assigned to the senior who painted them.
If anyone would like last year's yearbook, we have extras available for $65. Please see Mrs. Zima to get your copy.
Attention anyone interested in working backstage for the fall play: there will be a meeting in Ms. Hurley's room on Monday, September 21st from 3-3:30. You must attend to be able to participate in the show and homecoming parade.
Our next blood drive is tomorrow Friday, Sept. 18th. You must be 16 or older to donate. Donations can earn you senior hours and a graduation cord after 6 donations. Please see Mrs. Helmbreck for permission slips or to sign up.
The Southwestern MI Urban League is now accepting applications for the Future Force Program, a four-year college-readiness scholarship initiative offered in partnership with WMU. Students who complete the program in good standing, graduate from high school, are admitted to WMU, and meet applicable university requirements may qualify for the Future Force. For more information, see your counselor or contact the Urban League. Applications will be accepted through the month of September.
Are you interested in learning more about the trades and the manufacturing industry? If so, please sign up in the counseling office or on Google Classroom to attend Manufacturing Day at KCC’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center on October 8th. This trip is open to freshmen and sophomores, with preference given to sophomores. Reach out to your counselor with any questions!
