January is School Board Appreciation Month. Harper Creek Middle School 6th grade students and teachers thanked their Harper Creek Community School Board Members in person for helping fund their 6th grade camp experience at Battle Creek Outdoor Education Center, Clear Lake Camp.

Attention Staff and Students! Students, please remember to deposit your LEAD tickets in the grade-level bin in the cafeteria. Teachers don't forget to sign them so that you have a chance to win a prize too! Starting at the end of the month, there will be a prize for the student in each grade level who has received the most Lead Tickets.
Attention 8th graders! Are you interested in working backstage for the musical? There will be an informational meeting at the high school on Tuesday, February 10th, from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm. The meeting has been moved to the black box near the high school auditorium. Hear about our great opportunities, even if you didn't fill out the form.
Theater students: There is a build day this weekend. Everyone must attend from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Additionally, Ms. Hurley has added a full cast rehearsal on Tuesday, February 10. Please plan accordingly. This is for needed choreo and vocal rehearsals that were missed during the snow days.
In Sports News:
Girls Basketball: 7B lost a hard-fought game against Marshall. The top scorers were Aleena Prough with 4 points. Emersyn Bellwood with 3 and Keke Arms with 2.
7A beat Marshall 47-27. Lauren Casselman had an incredible night scoring 33 points. Payton Smith scored 9. Mila Heil 3 and Sophia Zima 2.
The 8th grade basketball teams traveled to Marshall last night and came home with wins! The B team was able to hold off the Redhawks 24-17. Top scorers were:
Jordyn White with 10 points
Brielle Fry with 6 points
Hailey Green with 5 points
Abby Miller with 2 points
And Rachel Rangel with 1 point
The A team won 35-22. too scorers were:
Isa Stanley with 11 points
Lily Gandy with 10 points
Riley Zumer and Peyton Bess both had 5 points
And Annabell Shea, Kailey Feight, and Jazmin Landenberger all had 2 points each.
Keep up the good work, ladies!
Attention Clay Target Participants: There will be a parent meeting for the 2026 Harper Creek Clay Target team on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The meeting will be in the High School Cafeteria and will begin at 7:00 pm.
