Daily Announcements
Attention cast of the fall play: rehearsals are canceled after school due to Ms. Hurley's illness. Please watch the show at home tonight. See our Google Classroom for more details. A code was provided in your casting letters. Email Hurley with questions.
Thank you to the seniors and their families for painting on Sunday and for leaving the area clean and beautifully decorated.
Students, you may not park in any of the painted parking spots during school hours. Those spots have been paid for and assigned to the senior who painted them.
If anyone would like last year's yearbook, we have extras available for $65. Please see Mrs. Zima to get your copy.
Attention anyone interested in working backstage for the fall play: there will be a meeting in Ms. Hurley's room on Monday, September 21st from 3-3:30. You must attend to be able to participate in the show and homecoming parade.
Our next blood drive is this Friday, Sept. 18th. You must be 16 or older to donate. Donations can earn you senior hours and a graduation cord after 6 donations. Please see Mrs. Helmbreck for permission slips or to sign up.
The Southwestern MI Urban League is now accepting applications for the Future Force Program, a four-year college-readiness scholarship initiative offered in partnership with WMU. Students who complete the program in good standing, graduate from high school, are admitted to WMU, and meet applicable university requirements may qualify for the Future Force. For more information, see your counselor or contact the Urban League. Applications will be accepted through the month of September.
If you are a returning Future Force senior, junior, or sophomore tonight from 3:30-5:00 pm, you and your parents should plan to attend the “Returning Students Annual Reset and Recommitment Night”. Future Force families will update important information, review program expectations, set goals for the new school year, and recommit to their four-year college readiness journey.
