Attention Staff and Students! Students, please remember to deposit your LEAD tickets in the grade-level bin in the cafeteria.  Teachers don't forget to sign them so that you have a chance to win a prize too!

Our Lead ticket winners this week are: 5th Grade: Madelynn Yost, Addison Gonzalez and Billi Axtell. 6th Grade: Clark Dove, Nathan Asher, and Joy Green. 7th Grade: Emily Hickey, Berkeley Farrah, and Aaron Florence. 8th Grade: Hailea Thomason, Lillian Atwood, and Reed Maichele. You may come to the office after announcements to claim your prize!

Attention 5th through 7th graders: Please take home the Author Visit form. If you would like a signed copy of the author's book, you must return the form by Monday, March 23rd.

Attention all students who are interested in Matilda Jr.  Audition day is quickly approaching.  If you want to take part in the play, you must sign up on the link.  If you have not signed up, you will not be able to audition.  Once you are registered, a band link will be sent to you with all of the audition information.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Fronsman or Ms. Mayhew.  Please do not reach out to What A Do directly.

Reminder for Girls on the Run: Your first practice is Tuesday, March 10th. You will meet up in Ms. Bryant's classroom, and practice is every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Tickets are now on sale in the high school main office for the spring musical: Drowsy Chaperone. Student tickets are only $10! See the musical mayhem this March 20th, 21st, and 22nd. This show is rated PG-13.

 In Sports News:

The 7th Grade B-Team lost a hard-fought game at Marshall last night, 16-19. Caprice Stacy scored 9 points. Victoria Bogema scored 4 points.  Edriana Dimas had 2 points. Lauren Lazarov scored 1 point. The 7th grade A-Team lost a heart-breaker 27-29. Lauren Casselman scored 13 points. Payton Smith had 6 points. Mila Heil scored 5 points and Sophia Zima scored 3 points. Great season girls!

Last night, the 8th grade girls basketball teams ended their season with huge wins over their cross town rivals the Marshall Redhawks. The B team dominated the entire game with just 5 players beating them 52 to 7! Every single girl scored and contributed to this big win. Haley Green was on fire with 18 points, Abby Miller lead in steals and had 14 points. Jordyn White ran the point and contributed a big 3 pointer and had 11 points, Briella Fry was aggressive at the post and had 6 points, And Adi Waterson's speed was unmatched and had 3 points The B team ended with a powerful 7 and 2 record! Awesome job, girls! 

The A team played a competitive back and forth game and ultimately ended up on top winning 39 to 33! Top scorers were:

Lilly Gandy with 14 points

Kinsey Jozwiak and Lyla Zumer with 8 points

Isa Stanley with 4 points

Riley Vaccarro and Annabelle Shea both had 2 points each and Kailey Feight had 1 point.

The A team ended with an incredible 8 and 1 record.  Way to end the season strong, ladies!

The girls would like to thank the student section for showing their school spirit and cheering on the girls. Lastly, we would also like to give a special shout out to Miss Whitmyer and The Student ESPN Beaver Bros who provided coverage during our last home game. Their live play-by-play and analysis added a fun, professional touch and kept the crowd entertained throughout games. Thanks for creating lasting memories for our students and athletes!

Attention middle school students interested in playing tennis! Try-outs will be held on March 23rd and 24th. There will be a parent meeting on March 23rd at 4:00 pm. Remember, you must have a sports physical on file to try out, and there is a $30 sports fee. Please see Coach Eddy or Coach Lindsey if you have any questions.
