Overall, the team had a total of 65 personal best times and distances! Wonderful work ladies and a special thank you to the volunteers that helped make our meet run smoothly. Remember, no practice today so be ready to rock next Monday. Our next meet is next Thursday against Marshall.

Boys track and field dominated a tough Coldwater team in a decisive 80-57 victory last night.

Colton Hess set the tone early on in the night, crossing first in the 100 meter dash with a personal best of 12.73.  Colton also finished right behind Mason Robinson in the 70, followed by Tate Ray in third.

Adding to the point total, Tate chucked the shot put 35 feet 2 inches for a gold finish and Mason and Jeremy’ah Anderson took 1 and 2 in the 200 meter dash.

Hess and Robinson combined with Malachi Heil and Anderson to squeak out a crucial “W” in a photo finish of the 4 by 1, clocking the fastest league time.

Anderson and Primm both flew over the bar at 5 feet 2 inches winning second and third in the high jump.

Malachi also brought home gold in the 400 with Jacob Gallagher right behind him scoring a personal record.  The duo also won the silver and bronze in the long jump.

Jacob set another “PR” in the 800 taking second ahead of first timer Brock Wagner in third.

Brock could absolutely not be stopped in the mile run, recording the best time in the league at 5 minutes and 28 seconds.  Wagner stole another first in the pole vault as well.

Finally, the trio of Cayden Dell, Carson Keller, and Lucas Russell swept the 2 mile run sealing the victory for the Beavers.

Special shout out to Carson Keller for finishing the 2 mile race only to turn right around and fill in for an injured teammate in the 4 by 400 relay.

Great job boys!  The final dual of the season is next week on Thursday in Marshall.  Let’s go Harper!
