Fantastic job, ladies! Next Wednesday wraps up our season with the league meet at Northwest. Go Beavers!

The boys track team closed out their regular season last night by defeating a tough Marshall team by a score of 74 to 58.

The Beavers set the tone early in the first race with a time of 10 minutes and 23 seconds in the 4 by 800 lead by runners Brock Wagner, Brogan Millen, Colin Alday, and Jacob Gallagher.

Brock also dominated the pole vault and mile run, getting first in both events. Wagner also ran with Alday and Cayden Dell in the mile run, sweeping the event.

Dell and Carson Keller both drastically improved to personal bests in the 2 mile securing a first and second place finish over the Redhawks.

Gallagher ran his fastest 800 race crossing the finish line first with Brogan Millen close behind for a third place finish, also a best time for him.

Jacob flew to victory in the long jump as well, assisted by Malachi Heil in second place.

Heil added to the total by winning the 400 meter run.

The team of Heil, Hess, Robinson, and Hampton cleared with a photo finish coming from behind to take a 4 by 1 victory.

Mason continued his reign of fastest in the league seeing gold in both the 70 and 200 with a best in each race.

Tate Ray squeaked by the third place runner at the finish line to secure a silver in the 70 too, in addition to his 2nd place finish chucking the shot put over 35 feet, with Brogan Temple taking the bronze.

Nolan Primm took control of the high jump taking first.

Many athletes had their best overall performances including Noah Stephens, Rowan Green, Nolan Smith, Griffin Kostakis, Brody Monroe, Hunter Cotter, Titus Tindol, Blake Hylton, Griffin Roberts, Wyatt Nisevich, Cooper Ledbetter, Andrew Millen, Jayden Bolton, Lucas Russell, Demarcus Bolden, Spencer Norton, Zac Antes, and Stephan Mabry-Glass.

Congratulations to the boys on another undefeated season.  They’ll compete in the League Meet next Wednesday.  Good luck!

Harper Creek Middle School Tennis ended the season last night with a home match against Hastings. The team won overall, and there were several individual wins to celebrate. Colton Heil and Jamison Grammar ended the season with a win at 1 doubles, and throughout the season went between singles and doubles with an undefeated record. Taym Ali has also had a near perfect record this season at 2 singles. Jett Casarez ended his Middle School career at 1 singles with never losing a singles match. 8th graders on the team include: Alex Kachman the Duck King, Camden Starks, Chloe Crowe (who is, on the record old), Colton Heil, Drake Lepper, Izzie Koehler, Jamison Grammar, Jett Casarez (the man, the myth, the nonchalant legend), Kason Messer, Lucas Russell (who loves Tennis more than Track), Maizen Culp (the rizzler), Mason Miller, Mi'Leya Cochran (who thinks she's Mrs. Eddy's favorite), Noah Martin, Nolan Erskine, Patrick Klien (who loves tennis more than cross country), Shelby Barnes (who always did it for Cinco), Sophia Ruiz & Sydney Dickert (the wonder twins), and Tucker Ware who I will never ever forget.

Thank you 8th graders. Thanks to the whole team for your grit, teamwork, honesty, and kindness. We can't wait to celebrate with you today.
