Attention Staff and Students! Students, please remember to deposit your LEAD tickets in the grade-level bin in the cafeteria. Teachers don't forget to sign them so that you have a chance to win a prize too!

Get ready to lace up your sneakers! If you, a friend, or your entire family want to show your support and join the Girls on the Run 5K, stop by the office to grab a flyer and sign up. Girls on the Run participants—no need to sign up, you’re already in! The race is this Saturday, May 16, at 9:00 a.m. Let’s come out strong and show our support—hope to see you at the starting line! 

Attention 5th and 6th graders: Are you interested in swimming? Come join us at the Harper Creek High School pool for a quick lesson and a fun swim. This event will be this Friday,  May 15th, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Sign up is in the main office.

End of the year Spirit Days: Thursday, May 14, is wear your BLUE to spread Autism awareness. Friday, May 15, wear your red, white, and blue to support our Special Olympic Athletes!

In Sports News:

Harper Creek Jr. Baseball’s Team Latta 12U had a dominant 16–1 victory over Leslie in their first home game of the season last Friday night! 

5th/6th lacrosse update: Monday, the team hosted Lakeview and won 11-6. Team effort was the focus, with many players getting their first start of the season.

In on the scoring and assist action were the following: Gray King, Lincoln Bacon, Jaxon Morales, Brogan Carleton, Max Harrington, Landon Casselman. Max, Landon, and AJ Stap all had one assist.

Maverick Peterson with 2 goals and 2 assists, and Vinnie Ianitelli with 3 goals and 3 assists.

Next game to close out the regular season is tonight, as the Beavers will host a tough Vicksburg team at 5:30 pm, 7th/8th grade will follow. Go Beavers.
