Students please remember breakfast food does not leave the cafeteria. You have to eat your food in the cafeteria.

The Kindness Challenge is here! Teachers and Student: RAK is sponsoring a KINDNESS CHALLENGE for the remainder of the school year (this is similar to the Movement Challenge from earlier this year). There are posters hanging in each wing of the building, 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th.

Teachers - you have stickers in your mailbox, and we are asking you to put a sticker on the grade level Kindness Challenge Poster when you see “Kindness” in your classroom. We will announce the grade that has the most stickers on the last day of school.

Well done to all Girls On the Run Athletes! Way to go this past Saturday. Thank you to all who came out to show your support.

Any current 8th grader who is interested in applying for Student Council next year in high school, packets are available in the main office.

In Sports News:

Harper Creek Jr. Baseball Team Latta 12U protected home field once again Friday night with a hard-fought 14–9 victory over Ionia!

In lacrosse action, the 5th/6th grade team wrapped up their outstanding season by playing Lakeview to kick off the playoffs on Friday, winning 14 to 3. The highlight of that game was Tucker Rowe scoring a hattrick, getting three goals on the night.

The team then moved on to play Mattawan on Saturday. Rock solid defense, and efficient offense saw Harper Creek win 7 to 3. Grayson Temple stood strong at goalie, coming up with some big stops in the second half.

Vinnie Ianitelli scored 3 goals, with AJ Stap, Jim Rice, Landon Casselman, and Maverick Peterson all scoring a goal each. Rice, Peterson, and Casselman each had 1 assist.

The 5th/6th lacrosse season has come to an end. It was a great season, winning 9 in a row. They finished with 10 wins and only 1 loss, putting them at first place in the league. Great job boys, be proud. Go Beavers!!!
