Harper Creek Community Schools is proud to be the venue for the Calhoun County Red, White, and Blue Foundation to host The Wall That Heals Vietnam Veterans Memorial Replica & Mobile Education Center, a program of the Vietnam Veterans, on August 20 - 23, 2026, at the Harper Creek High School Soccer Field Complex, 7290 B Drive N, Battle Creek, Michigan.

Harper's Unsung Hero- Elizabeth Murphy

Elizabeth chose teaching as her second career, with her first classroom placement being at Valley View Elementary, the school she attended as a child. She eventually joined her children at Wattles Park Elementary. Like her path to becoming a teacher, her path to becoming a parent was also non-traditional.
