Breakfast and Lunch for the 2025 - 2026 School Year

For the past several years, all Michigan students have received free breakfast and lunch. The State is still deciding whether to fund this program for the 2025–2026 school year.

To ensure students have healthy meals, Harper Creek Community Schools will cover the cost for all students through Wednesday, October 1, 2025. After that date, meal charges may resume depending on the State’s decision.

Please complete the Free and Reduced Meals application—even if you think you won’t qualify. The more applications we receive, the more funding our schools can get to support all students.

Paper applications are available at all HCCS buildings, or you can apply online through the HCCS Meal Magic Family Portal.
