Students, just a reminder that backpacks need to be in your lockers and not brought to class. Cell phones are also not allowed in class and no hats are to be worn once the school day begins.
Count day is this Wednesday the 4th. It is an important day for our school. Students please make every effort to present at school for count day and if you are unable to be here please bring in a note upon your return to school.
Tickets are now on sale for our fall play "Alice in Wonderland". They are available in the main office. Tickets are $8 each for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens ages 65 and up, and children 5 and under are free! Our play runs Nov 3rd-5th.
NHS is working to further help the community this year with our first big event being Boo Bash! Boo Bash is typically the biggest (and most expensive) event that the NHS puts on. With that, we need funding for candy, prizes, and decorations to throw the largest Halloween event at HCHS! We’d love to see you next week on Thursday, October 5th between 4 and 9 at Applebee’s in the Lakeview Square Mall. If you mention the Harper Creek NHS, 20% of whatever you spend will be donated to our organization. This applies to eat-in orders and take-out. NHS appreciates all you do to continue to build us up and help make things like Boo Bash happen!
Current 9 and 10th graders if you ordered an 8th grade yearbook and never received it please check in main office.
Ms. Hurley is looking for two more volunteers for Sunday, November 5th from 1-3. Students will sell tickets, punch tickets, pass out programs, seat people, and sell raffle tickets. Please see Ms. Hurley to sign up or with any questions.
NHS members, there is a meeting tomorrow Tuesday, October 3rd in the library from 3:05-3:45. We will be planning Boo Bash! This is a big event. We need all hands-on deck, so please make every effort to attend.
Manufacturing Day will take place on October 10th for students to explore the wide variety of manufacturing careers in our community. This will include a tour of the RMTC, the opportunity to engage with local employers in the manufacturing industry, and a tour of a local manufacturing employer. We are limited to just 40 spots so if you are interested in attending, please stop in the counseling office to sign up. We will leave around 10:40 and will return at approximately 1:45.
