It has come to our attention that a new TikTok challenge involves making paper stars out of sticky notes and throwing them at the ceiling to make them stick to the tiles. Some students have begun adding staples, needles, or T-pins to these paper stars.

This behavior is dangerous and considered destruction of school property. Any student observed participating in this activity—either in person or on security cameras—will face disciplinary action in accordance with school policy.

We expect all students to act responsibly and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.

Attention Staff and Students! Students, please remember to deposit your LEAD tickets in the grade level bin located in the cafeteria.  Teachers don't forget to sign them so that you have a chance to win a prize too! Starting at the end of the month, there will be a prize for the student in each grade level who has received the most Lead Tickets.

Harper Creek Middle School allows students to wear/bring costumes to school on Friday, October 31. We will have a school assembly that day as well. Please note the following rules regarding costumes so that we can ensure a fun, enjoyable day for everyone:

*No inflatables until the assembly. (No inflatables at lunch)

*No weapons or look-alike weapons

*No masks at any time

*All costumes must be school-appropriate

*If your costume includes paint or make-up (face paint, leg hand prints, etc.), including small face dots, this must be done at home before you come to school; you may not apply paint or make-up at school.

Parents, please use common sense regarding what is appropriate for school regarding gory costumes. If a costume is distracting for any reason – including gore – your child will be asked to remove the gore or change their clothes.

*If any of the above rules are violated during the school day, students will not be allowed to participate in the school assembly at the end of the day.

Any 6th and 7th-grade students interested in the Academically Talented Youth Program, please see Mrs. Schultz in the main office for more information.
