Get ready for an afternoon filled with music, dancing, and fun with friends at our Valentine’s Dance Party!

Thursday, February 5, 5th and 6th Grade, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Friday, February 6, 7th and 8th Grade, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Admission is $5.00 for the dance, and concessions will be available. This is not a formal event, so please do not bring clothes to change into.

Parents, we ask that you purchase tickets in advance to help us avoid money being dropped off in the main office on the day of the event. Students must remain at school until the dance begins at 3:00 pm. Please have your rides waiting at 5:00 pm in the parent pick-up lot on the east side of the building. We can't wait to see our Beavers on the dance floor!

Attention Staff and Students! Students, please remember to deposit your LEAD tickets in the grade-level bin in the cafeteria.  Teachers don't forget to sign them so that you have a chance to win a prize too! Starting at the end of the month, there will be a prize for the student in each grade level who has received the most Lead Tickets.

The school-wide movement challenge ends this Friday 6. 

The current standings are:

6^th Grade in first place with 202 movement breaks

5^th Grade is in second place with 171 movement breaks

8^th Grade is in third place with 165 movement breaks

And 7^th Grade is in last place with 144 movement breaks

Remember, the Grade level with the most movement breaks at the end of the day on Friday will receive a reward. 

Remind your teachers to give movement breaks!

Hey Students! The 5/6^th- grade dance is from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 5, and the 7/8^th- grade dance is from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, February 6.  Tickets are $5 and will be on sale at lunch this week and before school in room 213.  Tickets may be purchased at the door.  We will not allow you to call home to make arrangements on the day of the dance. Concessions will be available for purchase.  Valentine's Day socks and glasses will be on sale starting Thursday at lunch.

This is not a formal dance, so please do NOT bring formal attire to change into.  Also, you may not leave and re-enter the dance.

Lastly, please have your ride waiting promptly at 5:00 pm in the parent pick-up lot on the east side of the building.

Attention 8^th graders! Are you interested in working backstage for the musical? There will be an informational meeting at the high school on Tuesday, February 10^th, from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm. The meeting has been moved to the black box near the high school auditorium.  Hear about our great opportunities, even if you didn't fill out the form. 

Theater students: There is a build day this weekend. Everyone must attend from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Additionally, Ms. Hurley has added a full cast rehearsal on Tuesday, February 10. Please plan accordingly. This is for needed choreo and vocal rehearsals that were missed during the snow days.

In Sports News: 

Attention Clay Target Participants: There will be a parent meeting for the 2026 Harper Creek Clay Target team on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The meeting will be in the High School Cafeteria and will begin at 7:00 pm. 

Middle School Swimming and Diving

Reminder, today we will be having an end-of-the-season celebration at the pool from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Come to celebrate your accomplishments with pizza, a fun swim, and awards from the championship meet! Bring a dish to pass if you would like!
