Congrats to both of our middle school boys' and girls' cross country teams. The Boys Team took 1st overall with 20 points. Brogan Millen came in first for the entire meet at 13:00 minutes, with Cayden Dell running in as Harper Creek's second runner at 13:25. The Girls Team also took 1st overall at 29pts, with Sophia Zima as our first Harper Creek runner at 12:38, and Mila Heil coming in as second for Harper at 13:48. We saw a ton of blue in the top 15 placements. Awesome work, girls and boys!
Your 8th Grade Harper Creek Beavers football team put together a complete team victory, shutting out Parma Western 42-0! Offensively, Cooper Ledbetter led the charge with an outstanding performance, scoring 4 touchdowns and adding 2 two-point conversions. Kaden Larson contributed 1 touchdown, while Blake Hylton added 1 touchdown of his own. Rowan Green helped extend the lead with 2 two-point conversions. The Beavers' defense was dominant all game long. Jaxson Austin made several game-changing plays, recording 1 interception and 1 fumble recovery. Evan Oursler and Bryan Wilk each recovered a fumble as the defense kept the opponent off the scoreboard.A tremendous team effort by the Beavers, with explosive offense, a relentless defense, and a well-earned shutout victory.
Attention volleyball girls who want to order pictures, your picture form must be turned into the library by tomorrow, Friday September 11.
