Early Release Today

Happy Birthday today to: Mallory Barker, Paxten Newman, Pawel Papiez, Hadley Roberts, Sierra Walter

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Students, take a moment to thank your teachers for everything they do—whether it’s helping you learn something new, supporting you when things are tough, or encouraging you to be your best.

Teachers: Here's the “Scoop” we think you're awesome! Thank you for all that you do. 

Students: In the spirit of Teacher's Week, this Friday, May 8th, will be “Dress like your Favorite Staff Member or Subject.”

Today is Nurse Appreciation Day: Thank you to our School Nurse, Mrs. Decker, and our Health Aide, Ms. Grace, for taking care of all of our students!

Any students who will be in 6,7, or 8th grade next school year. There will be a Robotics parent and student meeting next Tuesday, May 12, at 6:00 pm in the Board room at the Administration building. This is for those still interested in filling out an application. If you have filled out an application already, you are welcome to attend, but you do not have to. This will be the time to turn in the application for the coming year.  

In Sports News:

In 5th/6th Lacrosse, last Friday the Team traveled to first place and undefeated Mattawan. Losing in the first matchup 4-12, a focused team game plan and some outstanding individual efforts, led to a strong 7 to 4 victory.

Grayson Temple was a rock at goalie, racking up 14 saves on the night. 

Lincoln Bacon played lockdown defense the 2nd half on Mattawan's best player and kept him from scoring, great job Lincoln.

A coach highlight: All 7 goals scored were assisted. Great team game, great team win.

Next game is tonight at Portage. Go Beavers!!
