Conference Trap had the Beavers bringing home more hardware this past Saturday at the MTA Homegrounds in Mason, Michigan. The Varsity continued their quest by medaling in 2nd place, and then again placing 6th and 10. The Junior Varsity medaled in 2nd and 3rd places, the Intermediate Advanced medaled in 3rd, and the Intermediate Entry placed 4th. The Rookie squad rounded it out by taking the win and medaling in 1st place. Congratulations to freshman Eli Morris on shooting his first 50 Straight in Trap
Need a summer job that is flexible around sports, schedules, camps and family vacations? RBH Detasseling is looking to hire around 100 workers ages 14 and up for summer work. Applications are in the office.
Attention all current NHS students you must submit your hours by this Friday May 10th in order for them to count. Make sure to submit them by 3 in order to remain in NHS.
Tickets for the Annual ‘Night of Jazz’, Dinner dance are on sale in the office and the band room. This event will be on May 18th starting at 6pm. There will be live music, a catered meal, dancing and raffles throughout the evening. Tickets are only $20 each.
Attention sophomores and juniors: We are now accepting applications for next year’s student leaders. Do you want to have a positive effect on our school culture? Apply to be a part of Student LEADERship and the Freshmen Mentor Program. Students who are selected as student ambassadors help incoming freshmen get acclimated to the high school during orientation, 3rd block Freshmen Focus, Math Lab, and Science Seminar. We need you! Applications are available outside the main office and in the counselor’s office. Deadline to apply is today May 8.

We will be using this information for recognition at the Senior Award Ceremony and in the Graduation Commencement Program.
