Happy Birthday to: (no birthdays)

Attention Student Council Members, we will have our December meeting TONIGHT,  Monday, December 9^th from 3-4pm in the library.  If you intend to get a meal after school, do so before the meeting starts at 3pm.  See you Monday!

Choir members, your concert is Tuesday (tomorrow) at the high school, please arrive to the high school at 6:30, the concert will begin at 7:00. 

Attention skiers and snowboarders!  Be a part of the Harper Creek Ski Club and get a club card for discount rates on Wednesdays and Sundays at Bittersweet Ski Area.  Club cards are $32 and provide discounts rates on daily lift tickets and equipment rental.  The Ski Club will also have a bus to provide transportation to Bittersweet Ski Area on Wednesdays in January and February.  You must be in 7^th or 8^th grade to ride the club bus.  Please see Mr. Crooks in room 220 (next to the turtle room) before or after school to get club forms and additional information.

Any 5^th or 6^th Girls interested in Girls on the Run and want to sign up registration is now open with limited spots available. There are flyers in the office. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Baker in room 208 for more information.

🎄✨ Attention All Students and Staff! ✨🎄 It's time to get creative and spread some holiday cheer! The Door Decorating Contest has started and will continue through Tuesday, December 17^th.  Let’s make the hallways shine with holiday magic! 🎅

Auditions for the spring musical are today and tomorrow at the high school from 3:15-5. Please only come to one of these audition days and bring your audition packet. You will sing and perform a small scene. EVERYONE should plan to come to the dance audition on Thursday, December 12. Break a leg!

Attention Students Every Friday in December we will be having Hot Chocolate and P.J.’s. You can wear your pajamas and buy a cup of Hot Chocolate in the concession between 7-7:30 am for $1.00.

We will be having Hat days on Fridays until winter break!  $1 to wear your hat. Must be purchased BEFORE first hour in varsity hall or in front of the main office. 

Students-There are free books in the library. Stop by, with permission from your teacher, and take a look.

Teachers, please remember to give out LEAD tickets for following LEAD expectations. Students must deposit their tickets in the LEAD bin in the cafeteria to be in the running for cool prizes. 

In sports………Boys basketball takes on Hastings tonight, 8^th grade at home and 7^th plays away. Good luck teams.

MS Swimming has their first meet tonight at Lakeview, good luck swimmers.

The 7^th grade girls Jr. Beaver basketball team finished the last two weeks of the regular season undefeated, and 6-2 overall.  All players scored however even more impressive is our defense.  This weekend we held our opponents to 11 and 14 points with tenacious defense and great communication.  We are really improving and looking forward to rolling into the Red Cedar Tournament this weekend!  Good luck ladies!

Attention 7th and 8th grade girls: Signups for middle school basketball are outside of Mr. McManus' room. Please sign up only yourself and print clearly. Tryouts will be held Monday, January 6th and you must have a physical on file at the time of tryouts. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Ries or Ms. Whitmyer.
