Today is a B Day

Happy Birthday to: Everett Irving

Yesterday the girls cross country team took first place at the Harper Creek Invitational. Medaling for the girl’s team was Anna Loritz, Rylee Zumer, Eve Jerome, Carson Bunker, Kinsey Jozwick, Eva Hunt, Maddie Gallagher, and Marnie Wright.  The boys team took second place.  Coming in first place was Logyn Katsarsky and Cooper Monroe was second. Also medaling for the boy’s team was Jackson Hunt, Charlie Cotts, and Jojo Ruble.

The 7th grade football team beat the Coldwater Cardinals 36-7 yesterday. Great team win with outstanding contributions from Bryce Lofgren and Nathan Miller both scoring two touchdowns. Connor O’Connell and Brady Atton both added over 100 yards of offense. The Harper defense was lead by Carson Anderson who led the team in tackles and Zander Zima who had an interception. Outstanding effort by the whole team!

 

Volleyball heads to Marshall tonight for a meet. Your bus will leave at 2:45, right after the other buses pull out. Good Luck Girls

Yearbooks are currently on sale for $30.00 each, cash or check, first come, first serve, and may be purchased in the library or main office. If you pre-ordered they will be delivered to your homeroom by today. If you have a sibling that is now in the high school their book will be with yours. Please take it home to them.

Next week is “Spirit Week” The following are the scheduled dress up days; Monday-Celebrity Day, dress like your favorite celebrity. Tuesday- Duo Day, dress up as part of a duo or group of people or items. Wednesday- Decade Day, pick your favorite decade and show some love. Thursday- Party in the U.S.A. day. Wear red, white and blue to represent our country. Friday- White out day-Get your white our shirt and wear it to school and the Homecoming Game.

Homecoming is fast approaching. Please join us for the 8th Annual Homecoming Carnival on Friday, the 29th. It will bel held here at the Middle School beginning at 3:00 and running until 6:00. There will be inflatables, dunk tank, rock wall slide, games, snow cones, cotton candy pony rides and more. Tickets are on sale beginning today in the office. 4 for $1.00. Purchase them ahead of time and save waiting in line. You will be allowed to stay after school for this event. Flyers will go home with you tonight.

Be sure and order your White Out T shirt to wear on Homecoming Friday. Get your form filled out and returned to the office or Mr. Dishaw’s room before this Friday. They are only $10.00.
