7A girls' basketball team suffered a tough loss to Pennfield 32-39. Ella Brannen was the leading scorer with 11 points, Ande King scored 8 points, Alaina Kilpatrick made two 3 pointers for 6 points, Adeline Higgs had 3 points, Cara Prough and Abbigail Cook scored 2 points each. Great game. Reminder no practice today! 

7B girls’ basketball got a 21-1 victory over Pennfield. They played as a team and hustled!  Anna Loritz scored 11 points, Bristol Latimer had 4 points, Gabby Barosso, Marisa Demorest and Payton May each had 2 points. Nice work, ladies!

The 8th grade girls basketball teams hosted Pennfield last night and both teams came out with victories. The B team won 27 to 18. Leading scorers were Kaydence Jacox with 12 points and Natalia Hoyt with 9 points. The A team won 30 to 11. Top scorers were Madelyn Gallagher with 9 points, Addie Mitchell with 8 points, and Aubrie Stewart and Lauren Eversole with 4 points each. The girls will take on Jackson County Western and Jackson Lumen Christi next week. Reminder- 8B will have no practice today. 8A is the only team practicing tonight.

The Wrestling team heads to Pennfield for their match tonight. Good Luck Wrestlers.

There has been a change to the next student council meeting, It will be held on Tuesday February 27th after school. Please check your student council google classroom for updates. 

Attention 8-12 graders: if you’re are interested in helping backstage with the spring musical Annie, please plan to attend an informational meeting in Ms. Hurley’s room on Tuesday, February 6th at 3:00 P.M. If you’re unable to attend for any reason, please mail Hurleyt@harpercreek.net for more information. 

Interested in Clay Target Team? There will be a parent information meeting on Wednesday, Feb.7th in the high school cafeteria from 6:30-8:00. Coaches will be present to answer any questions and give an overview of the program.
