Attention Chess Club: There will be no Chess Club today!
Attention Staff and Students! Students, please remember to deposit your LEAD tickets in the grade level bin located in the cafeteria. Teachers don't forget to sign them so that you have a chance to win a prize too! Starting at the end of the month, there will be a prize for the student in each grade level who has received the most Lead Tickets.
Reminder: Today is Thursday and the WMU interns are here. Don't forget to come down at your assigned time.
Kindness Week is this week
The spirit week dress up days are as follows, Today: Kindness never sleeps, wear your cozy PJs and kindness t-shirt, Friday: Kindness glows here: wear your brightest neon colors.
Being welcoming and friendly, is acknowledging others and making them feel at home--everyone should feel like they belong from the moment they walk into our school. Shout out to Jude Sunnock, Paisley Vaccaro, Myles Robinson, Paisley Hubbart, Anya Shaw, Evan Oursler, Griffin Roberts, Katie Leamy, Mrs. Brush, Mrs. Chantrenne, Miss Mayhew, and Mrs. Ries! This group is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Thank you for bringing such a warmth to HCMS!
Attention all students: The 5th and 6th grade dance is today from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the middle school cafeteria. Admission is $5, a cornhole tournament and concessions will be available for purchase. The 7th and 8th grade dance is tomorrow, Friday, November 14th , from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Wristbands will be sold for the admission to the dances and will be available during lunches and before the dance starts.
In Sports News: All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls interested in Middle School Swimming and Diving, stop by in the main office to sign up! The season will start after Thanksgiving and you must have a physical on file before the first practice. No previous swimming and diving experience is necessary!
